Mary Moores Fine Art

As the daughter of a math teacher and a police officer, Mary grew up in a home where practical utilitarianism mattered most.  From her parents, she inherited a work ethic that drives her daily.   They cultivated a sense of curiosity when they piled her older sister, brother, and Mary in the backseat of a station wagon, traveling to different parts of the United States.  Born with an innate appreciation of beauty and elegance, Mary loved visiting new places and especially her grandmother, whose house was filled with antiques.  Mary wants to make art that is an everyday luxury that feeds someone's soul.   She seeks to transmit a feeling of peacefulness, reflective thoughtfulness, joy, and gratitude for the beauty she sees everywhere she goes. Mary hopes you will find an oasis from the incessant demands of the digital world, relief from distraction, and a place of mindful presence when you add a piece of her art to your home.
