The clarity of the sunlight in this well known Mexican town named Sayulita reminds me of San Francisco in the US. The town is very hilly and many use all-terrain golf carts to get them where they want to go.

Sayulita has a hippie vibe and is known for its delicious restaurants. We were fortunate to take a family vacation there over Christmas 2023. This painting was created in my studio, based on a photograph taken on the last day of our trip.
